What happens after the 7-day trial?
Your trial unlocks every feature of the plan you picked — Starter, Pro, or Studio. On day 8 you'll be prompted to add a card to keep using it. If you don't, your account simply pauses: your reference library and presets are saved for 90 days, so you can come back and pick up exactly where you left off. Nothing is deleted, nothing is auto-charged.

Can I switch plans or cancel mid-month?
Yes, both, instantly. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference for the current cycle. Downgrades take effect at the next billing date so you don't lose paid-for sessions. Cancellation is a one-click toggle in Settings → Billing — no email ticket, no retention call, no dark patterns. Annual subscribers can pause for up to three months per year.

How do Studio seats and licenses work?
One Studio subscription covers up to 10 named seats under a single billing account. Each engineer gets their own login, their own reference library, and their own session history — but billing, shared presets, and the central reference library are managed from the studio owner dashboard. Seats can be reassigned monthly; we don't lock them to a machine.

Does the desktop app work offline, and what happens to my sessions?
The desktop plug-in (AU / VST3) needs an internet connection to reach the Reference-Match AI engine, since the heavy lifting happens on our render farm in Frankfurt. Once a master is rendered, the resulting WAV / FLAC / AIFF file lives on your machine and is yours permanently — even if you cancel. Sessions themselves (the editable project state) are stored in your account for as long as your subscription is active, plus 90 days after cancellation.
